Weekly Wishlist: Kitchen Appliances

You know you’re an adult when you realise you’re planning on spending your next pay-check on kitchen appliances.

That being said, like I’ve told you guys, I want to get more into cooking and some of these things just seem necessary! Okay, not necessary, but would still be nice to have.

Accura 5kg Iris Mechanical Kitchen Scales

I was just watching a baking vlog where one of these was used, and I couldn’t help but think how much cuter it was than regular, digital kitchen scales! It took me a while to find a place in Australia that sold anything like it (or maybe I’m just really, really bad at the Google game) but I love these – especially the first two!

Ateco 608 Revolving Cake Decorating Stand

After seeing a bunch of ‘naked’ decorated cakes on pinterest, I’ve decided it’s something I have to try – and this little turntable will make that so, so much easier.

Kitchenaid Stand Mixer

Firstly, I just wanted to point out the colour of this mixer, because it’s so beautiful. Secondly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford one of these, but it’s nice to imagine anyway.

Breville Custom Loaf Pro Bread Maker

If you saw my Cheesy Bacon Jalapeno Bread recipe, you’ll notice I cooked the bread in the oven – which was really quite simple, so I know this bread maker shouldn’t be purchased on a whim… but the thought is still tempting.

Breville Aroma Style Electronic Coffee Machine

This definitely isn’t the most exciting coffee machine in the world. However, I added this to the list with my boyfriend in mind – for some reason, he insists that Melbourne’s coffee (espresso) is not real coffee. To be fair, the first time he visited me in Australia he tried to order ‘a coffee’ and confused the McCafe workers. Anywaaaay, since he’s coming to live with me for a year, I thought it would be nice to get something to resemble his ‘real coffee’ ideals.

That’s it for this post – sorry if you’re still youthful and fun and were bored by this boring post, by a boring adult (me). I do hope you enjoyed reading it though!

PS. If anybody’s used a kitchenaid mixer, I really would like to know if you think it’s worth the cost!

I actually have the kitchen aid mixer not in this colour (mine is in the pastel collection) but, seriously, I highly recommend it! Along with all of the other kitchen aid products. I know it is pretty expensive but it is a very good quality! You should pay the price if you plan to use it a lot! ;)

Oooh what colour do you have? The pastel ones are so precious! And thanks, it’s helpful to hear that people think they’re worth the money… I won’t feel as guilty about buying one :p
