Weekend Notes

Hello everybody! I thought I’d write a little update post since it’s been two weeks since my last Weekend Notes. I actually had 4 days off last weekend which was absolutely lovely; on Friday, my friend Shannon came over and we watched Shane Dawson’s haunted hotel videos, ordered in pizza, and made a Biscoff Spread vegan cake, which was absolutely delicious. I do want to post the recipe for it, but unfortunately the photos turned up quite grainy, so I need to devote some time into editing them to fix them up.

The rest of the weekend was fully devoted to my blog. I fixed up my desk area, to force myself to stop writing posts while sitting on my bed – and it’s working! I love sitting down at my desk, surrounded by cute little notepads and stationery. It was definitely the right decision. I also took photos for and published my Tilley Australia post, which I’m super proud of, and got very good feedback from them – as well as you guys!

I’ve also started another instagram account, so I can post all the photos that I’ve taken and love, but don’t quite fit into my theme on hellomoonies. I’m really enjoying how it looks currently, even though it hasn’t even been active for a full day yet! I have to warn you, I’m not sticking to a posting schedule whatsoever, so you might get quite an influx of photos on your feed if you choose to follow me! But hey, don’t let that stop you. Here’s a little sneak peak of what to expect:

I was never one to use the faded effect – just take a look at my instagram feed in the footer of this page! Loud & proud, baby. However, I feel like the faded effect works really well to bring an abundance of pictures together and make them flow – perfect for a “posting everything I wanna post” feed. I’m honestly so happy with it!

Now, here are some links I’ve been enjoying lately:

these chocolate covered valentine gummy candies
this recipe for healthy quinoa kale salad
kylie’s pregnancy video (duh!)
this winter glow edit

and a few posts you may have missed:

Much love!
