MY TOP 10 FAVOURITE XMAS MOVIES
One of my favourite things to do during the festive season is to watch Christmas movies! I know I’m definitely not alone in this, but I thought I’d write a quick lil list of my top 10 favourite Christmas films to share with you all. There probably won’t be anything new or exciting on here, but I’m the kind of nosy person who loves knowing what other people like, so you might as well!
So, pop on your cosiest pyjamas (unless you’re in Australia as well; in which case, wear as little as possible! This heat is unreal.), make yourself a hot drink, and have a cheeky biscuit or two and settle in for a long night of movie watching. Or, you know, spread them out for the month of December – I’m more of a Netflix Binger myself!
I also wanted to quickly share my current Christmas film-watching set up. Does anybody else have little ways in which they prepare to watch festive movies? I absolutely do, and I love it. I like to shut my blinds and turn off any lights and have a Christmas candle burning (I obviously don’t usually have it sitting on my bed, though!!!). The one I chose to burn when taking these photos was Yankee Candle’s Shortbread Cookie, which is a damn delicious scent and so festive!
I also like to make a flavoured coffee. I recently bought a bunch of different Christmas-y flavours. I’ve never managed to find any in Australia, but eBay supplied the goods! This one is Christmas Pudding… yum!
Last but certainly not least, my favourite snack at the moment. It’s not festive, but it is tasty, and sometimes that’s all you need from a snack. It’s peanut butter (light & smooth, thank you very much) on a rice cake. Nothing fancy, nothing unheard of, but it definitely hits the spot.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Grinch Who Stole Christmas
The Muppet Christmas Carol
The Santa Clause
A Mom For Christmas
The Polar Express
So there you have it: my top 10 favourite Christmas films! They’re not in any particular order, though I do love The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Grinch probably the most out of them all… but it’s just so hard to choose! What are your favourite Christmas films?
