Do you have something cooking-wise you feel like you’re really bad at? For some reason, I can never work icing. I know that sounds ridiculous, because it’s sooo easy, but it just never does what I want it to do – or maybe that’s my total lack of artistic ability! Anyway, in spite of that, I decided to make these (cute?) Christmas Chocolate Covered Pretzels, and trust me: they’re a lot tastier than they look! (I’m actually a little embarrassed to be putting these up, but hey – I think it’s important for people to see the imperfections of recipes as well!)
See what I mean? They kind of look like they’re screaming for help.
Regardless of how they look, the sweetness of the white chocolate mixed with the saltiness of the pretzels is such a winning combination – these were demolished pretty quickly at home! The good news is, they’re so easy to make, you could make a whole batch to last for days.
Now, I haven’t included quantities in the ingredients, because it’s basically whatever you want to make! I used about half a packet of pretzels with one packet of white chocolate melts, and just eyeballed the icing sugar. I have faith in you, you’ll figure it out ;)
(And as a side note, next time I’m making at least triple times the amount.)
As always my loves, let me know what you think of this recipe!
