Mount Cannibal is definitely a lot nicer than it sounds. (Who named that? Cannibal? Really?) A few friends and I decided to go on a little adventure and hike there on Sunday, and I wanted to share some pictures with you!
If you haven’t already seen it, feel free to check out the short video I posted to YouTube below:
I will love you forever if you subscribe, like & comment on this video (but you know I already do!)
Unfortunately my camera died about halfway, so I had to resort to using my iPhone’s camera – so not the best quality, but it’ll do!
How sweet is this little baby we met on the way down? Her name was Roxy and she was a chihuahua like my cutie, Jasper!
Isn’t it a beautiful place? The hike was shorter than we thought – about an hour to the top and back down. Most of the time, I don’t find Australia’s forests that pretty – because they’re more yellow toned than the bluey-green you usually see in movies. However, sometimes I can’t help but love it regardless, and this was one of those times.
After the hike, we decided to stop for breakfast (though really, it was a late lunch) at a cute little cafe nearby. Look at that clock!
My breakfast: bacon and egg sandwich, vanilla latte.
Shannon’s breakfast: wedges with sour cream & sweet chilli sauce, which I severely regretted not getting once I rudely stole one of hers.
(Kasey got the same as Shannon, and Davina got a grilled cheese toastie… which I forgot to take a photo of. Oops!)
All in all, it was an amazing day and I can’t wait to go hiking somewhere new next time!
