GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE COFFEE ADDICT
I’m currently watching Gilmore Girls for the first time ever, and one of the things that I relate to the most is their over consumption of coffee. In fact, I’ve settled down with a lovely gingerbread flavoured coffee to write this post. The Gilmore Girls can go through several cups a day and it still not be enough. Decaf? No thanks. It got me thinking, there has to be some other Lorelai Gilmore’s out there who can’t live without their several daily intakes of caffeine – so what better gift than something that celebrates this coffee addiction?
I’ve put together this gift guide for the coffee addict, including a variety of different priced coffee-related items, whether they’re coffee machines, plungers, etc. I’ve tried to include something for everyone, and everyone’s price range.

- Chambord Classic French Press by Bodum, $69.63 AUD.
This french press immediately caught my eye – probably because I actually need one myself! I recently spontaneously bought a huge bag of Starbucks Pumpkin Spice coffee, forgetting that you can’t just make it like instant coffee. Oops. Anyhoo, this french press is super cute, and would look lovely in anybody’s kitchen.
- Wedgwood Harlequin Cuckoo Cream & Sugar Set, $45.00 USD.
Isn’t this cream & sugar set just darling? I personally don’t put cream in my coffee (it doesn’t seem to be a thing here in Australia, though I did enjoy it during my time in Canada!) but I’m definitely a “2 tsp of sugar, please & thank you” kind of gal… so this set would be right up my alley, and probably any of your coffee addicted friends’ alleys, too!
- Keurig K-Classic Pod Coffee Maker, $89.99 USD.
I can’t be the only one who’s wanted a Keurig Coffee Pod Machine since seeing them in the “morning routine” videos that all the beauty gurus made for a while. Ingrid Nilsen (missglamorazzi) definitely sold the Keurig idea to me – too bad you can’t get them in Australia. I had to include one for that reason – I need to live vicariously through someone. There are so, so many different flavoured pods you can use, which I think is the best thing about it!
- 4-Piece Copper Canister Set by Old Dutch, $66.99 USD.
I absolutely love these canisters, and think they would be such a pretty addition to any kitchen. I’d love these to put my different flavoured coffees in! I also think they’re nice to look at, so you could keep them out in view, instead of hiding them away in the pantry.
- SMEG Espresso Coffee Machine, $450.00 USD.
Okay, I know that this is pretty damn expensive. But I just adore SMEG; I’m determined to one day have a whole kitchen full of SMEG’s adorable pastel appliances. I think this kind of gift is perfect for one you can go in with other people. For example, if you and your siblings all put money in to get this for your caffeine loving mum. (Or hey, if you want to get this for yourself, I won’t blame you.)
- Plum & Bow Elephant Tea Mug, $16.00 USD.
If you know me at all, you’ll probably know that I have an unhealthy obsession with cute mugs. Christmas, novelty shaped, pretty patterns… the list goes on. My cupboards are overflowing with more mugs than one person will ever need. Hell, more mugs than an entire family would ever need. However, with mugs as sweet as this one, can you blame me?
- Le Creuset 27oz. French Press, $94.69 AUD.
I fell in love with this darling french press instantly. I definitely seem to have a thing for pastel kitchen appliances!
- BAN.DO ‘But First Coffee’ Thermal Travel Mug, $25.07 AUD.
A nice travel mug is a must-have for any coffee lover. It’s the perfect tool to keep them happy, and their coffee warm, on the go. I think this one is super cute – I love a good slogan!
- Martha Stewart Collection Heirloom Copper Tea Kettle, $69.61 AUD.
I guess this is more tea-related than coffee, but it’s so damn cute I had to include it. Besides, you need boiling water for coffee regardless! I’m imagining this paired with the canisters, and the Chamboard Classic French Press. Too cute!
- Alessi Girotondo Coffee Press, $225.00 USD.
This is probably my favourite thing on this list, appearance wise. I don’t know why it appeals to me so much, but it does! I think it would be perfect for a lovely, rustic looking kitchen – or even just as a decor piece.
