One of my favourite past-times is looking at how people have set up their gaming areas. I’m not even kidding – I find it so interesting and I love it (even though it usually makes me jealous). My desktop background at work is of a gaming setup that somebody posted and I pine for it every time I switch my computer on.
So I thought today I would show you some of my favourite setups that I’ve come across on the internet. Feast your eyes on these beauties.
I’ve started with a pretty crazy setup. If you go to the source, you can see pictures of how it was built and the step-by-step process. As I’m more of a PC gamer, I usually prefer looking at setups that include computers, dual monitors, etc, but the shelving and the LED strips on this just spoke to me. Also, the insane number of games… I can only dream.
This is the gaming setup I was talking about being set as my desktop wallpaper at work. It’s not the most crazy setup – it’s actually achievable, and that’s why I like it. I started to try and base my gaming setup around this, but I’m no longer buying anything major, as eventually I’ll be moving and the less I have to move, the better! And now that I’ve seen some other pretty amazing setups (like the ones below), I’m unsure if this should remain as my wallpaper and inspiration or not, but I still love it.
I have absolutely no need for a music studio in my gaming room, but I love it all the same. According to the source, the person who owns this fantastic setup made an app that lets you control the lighting using your voice, which I think is a really cool idea and something I wish I had the talent and resources to do.
Uggghhhh. I love the joined screens with the combination of the curved desk. There’s something about this setup that just speaks to me. And on a side note, how comfy does that chair look?
Excuse me while I take a break to cry and glare at my one monitor.
This one‘s quite simple compared to the others. I usually like the clutter of microphones, speakers, usb ports, etc. However, I’ll make an exception for this on account of that sick desk with the computer built into it. I haven’t seen anything like that before, and now I’m kind of wishing I had something like this.
That’s going to be it for now – I might do a part 2 of this sometime in the near future, as there are so many setups that just blow me away. If you’ve got your own gaming setup, I would love to hear about it or see pictures! You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or comment here :)
