Okay guys, I’ve been so slack. I’ve had the draft for this post since the day I received my Erin Condren Life Planner in the mail, but until now, never got around to finishing it! But I’ve finally got some time to dedicate towards it, so here it is!
After approximately a year of lusting after the Erin Condren life planner, I decided to finally get one!
There were a couple I was tossing up between, but ultimately I went with one that I could personalise and make it feel more like mine. I wanted to share my planner with you guys on this post, because it’s super cute and makes me actually want to stick to the things I’m writing down on there. It definitely makes me feel a bit more organised (apart from the delay of writing this post… heh.)
So, these are all pictures I’ve taken – you might recognise a couple of them from my travel posts. Also my three babies (my two cats and my dog) are featured, and a couple of my boyfriend because let’s face it, I’m obsessed.
All of these pictures make me happy for different reasons, and that’s why I chose them to be on the cover. It’s nice to have them so readily at my fingertips, and the cover always brings a dumb, goofy smile to my face.
After I ordered my planner and was waiting for it to be shipped out to me (which, by the way, only took a week or so – a lot faster than the ETA said!) I decided to go sticker hunting on Etsy. I decided to limit myself to just ordering a few sheets from two different stores (to save money on shipping) because otherwise there was a good chance I would be bankrupt right now… there were so many adorable stickers.
The first store I decided to buy stickers from was VioletLeBeaux. I love the sweet, soft style of these stickers and they appealed to me straight away. (I’m going to apologise for the quality of these photos – at the time I didn’t realise they were so bad, but seeing as I’ve used quite a few of them now I can’t retake them – another reason I should finish posts the day I planned to!!!)
I had always planned on buying weather stickers, because I’m so, so bad at looking up the weather every morning, and usually end up dressing completely wrong. I don’t know how it manages to escape my mind every morning, but it does. At least these stickers will help me remember the weather for important dates!
I also chose this adorable sheet full of all sorts of baked and cooked goods. Since I want to add more recipes to my blog for you guys, I thought these stickers were perfect to schedule set days in, to help me stick to it!
VioletLeBeaux also sent a couple samples of other sticker sheets she offered, which I thought was so lovely and generous of her. How cute are the cereal bowls?
The second store I bought a couple of sticker sheets from was TheStickerAlley. I love how fun and bright these stickers are. They’re simple, but adorable!
Seeing as I’m in a long distance relationship and often either travel, or pick John up from the airport, I thought these stickers were adorably necessary. I use the planes to write down flight details, and the suitcases for trips.
I’m not really sure what I’m going to use the mugs for, but I thought they were too cute to pass up. Maybe something to do with writing posts, as I usually have a cup of tea or a coffee with me when I write! Do you have any suggestions?
Let’s face it, I’m never going to forget when payday is. I look forward to it for the entire month leading up to it. However, I thought these money bags were super cute, and I like seeing the little symbol in my planner as the day approaches.
And of course, the presents pretty much speak for themselves.
I really hope you guys enjoyed this post. I’m so excited to finally have a planner to jot down ideas and things I wanted to remember – no more using (and losing) scrap pieces of paper and never seeing them again.
Do you have a life planner? I’d love to see pictures of how you decorated it!
