Hey guys! I haven’t done a 5 Favourites in a while, so I thought why not now? And for this edition, I’m going to show you my five favourite perfumes.
Keep in mind that these will just be stock images, as I don’t have all 5 of these perfumes at one time – I try to limit myself!
1. Dot – Marc Jacobs
I’ll admit, it was the bottle that first caught my eye – along with every other Marc Jacobs perfume! Seriously, his packaging is the best. But the smell is amazing – so sweet with a distinct smell of berries, yet simple enough to wear every day without getting sick of it or it being overpowering.
2. Play for her – Givenchy
I haven’t actually smelled this perfume since I was 19 – the last time I owned it. I distinctively remember my age because I was helping out at my sister’s work and one of the men who worked me walked past and knew what perfume it was and complimented it. I was ridiculously shy at that point, so it was nice to have something to talk about with someone! Anyway, this is still one of my favourite perfumes even though it’s been so long – I might have to go out and get another bottle of this delightfully sweet, floral scent!
3. Honey – Marc Jacobs
I was trying to resist the urge of having two Marc Jacobs perfumes on here – but I just couldn’t choose between them. Honey is a floral, warm, sunny scent – perfect for summer. I love that you can actually smell the notes of honey in this – it reminds me of that bath bomb from Lush I spoke about in my last Weekly Wishlist!
Be delicious – DKNY
This is a must if you like fruity scents. It’s juicy and delicious, and an easy contender for my top 5. The apple scent is the most noticeable, but it has a hint of floral as well, making this such a lovely, feminine perfume.
Fantasy – Britney Spears
I can’t tell if it’s the sweet, fruity, girly scent, or the nostalgia that washes over me every time I smell this that makes me love it so much. This was my go-to perfume when I was 15/16, and I still can’t get enough of it, even at 24. I don’t know any girl who hasn’t tried this perfume, but if you haven’t – you should!
There you have it: my five favourite perfumes.
