It’s been a couple of days since my last post, so I wanted to apologise for that – I was pretty busy with work, and I had a couple of things on so I didn’t have much spare time.
That being said, I’ve got quite a few posts up my sleeve ready to work on, one of them being this edition of 5 Favourites – my five favourite beauty products at the moment!
Poudre Signée De Chanel – illuminating powder
This illuminator by Chanel is my absolute favourite illuminator/highlighter. As you can tell by the photo, I’ve used a lot of it. It’s kind of expensive (close to $90 AUD I believe) so I’m unsure if I’ll be repurchasing this once it runs out, as much as I want to. I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to replace it with a different illuminator, but we’ll see.
It’s hard to get a good photo of it, being close to empty, but the colour is so gorgeous. If you have any recommendations for a similar powder for a cheaper price, please let me know!
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade – Soft Brown
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with my eyebrows. Either they look perfect, or they look awful. There’s no in between. Luckily, since purchasing Anastasia’s Dipbrow Pomade a couple weeks ago, they’re looking better each time. This product has honestly changed the brow game for me, and while I still need a bit of practice and to work on my technique, I’m ecstatic by how well this has been working for me so far.
Dior Créme De Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm
For somebody who has as ridiculously dry lips as me, this balm by Dior is a life saver. It’s made my lips so much softer, and the improvement is noticeable almost instantly. I use this every night before I go to sleep, and wake up with lips I never used to think I would be able to have. I’ve used a fair bit of this, but for me, this is a must have and I’ll be replacing it the minute it’s empty.
Youngblood Luminous Créme Blush in Taffeta
Firstly, I really like the package of this blush. It’s plain and simple, and so easy to take with you on the go. Not that you’ll really need to retouch this blush – it goes on so easily, and just a tiny bit can be enough to have your skin glowing a rosy pink. This colour is absolutely beautiful, and this is my absolute favourite cream blush that I’ve tried.
Lush Lip Scrub in Popcorn
This is the scrub I use every night before applying my Dior balm – and let me tell you, it tastes delicious. I have a couple of these lip scrubs by Lush, but Popcorn is definitely my favourite. I haven’t tried another brand’s scrub, so I can’t compare, but I do know that these work wonders on my lips and get all the dead skin off and leave them soft and smooth.
I hope you guys enjoyed this edition of 5 Favourites. Let me know your top 5 beauty products; or, if you’ve tried any of these, let me know what you thought of them! I love hearing your feedback.
