Now that it’s finally Spring in Australia, it’s time for me to ditch my usual combination of warm, fuzzy bed socks and my black ankle boots in favour of something a little more in season – and I wanted to share these Shoes for Spring with you as well!
I know you’re not all located in Australia, but hey – cute shoes are cute no matter what time of the year it is, so we can all still get something from this. That something might be incredible envy, lust, or a negative bank account, but it’s still something.
When I think of shoes for spring, my mind instantly goes to brights, pastels (contradiction, I know, but I like to be able to mix it up), whites, and floral prints – all of which I adore. Most of my shoes are plain black, but I did have this one pair of high wedges that had a white fabric with pretty blue and purple flowers all over – unfortunately they mysteriously disappeared. Hmmm…
*Mental note to question my mother later about that and her love for donating things.
I used solely ASOS for my shoe hunt. You guys know how much I love ASOS – and with over 2000 different pairs of shoes to look through, I had a blast and wasted some valuable company time and money, which is always a plus.
(Not sponsored, I just really love ASOS – haha)
These were the first pair to capture my eye, and what really screamed “SPRING IS HERE” in what certainly wasn’t an indoor voice. The bright, warm yellow and cute straps definitely make me think of the warmer weather, and I think these would be so lovely paired with a sweet white sun dress or something similar. I’d definitely need a tan with these, though… Another case of Lazy VS Fashion.
On closer inspection, these don’t have a floral print like I originally thought, and what had originally drawn me to them. But they’re still super adorbs’, and actually look pretty comfortable and easy to walk in! (Watch me buy them and struggle.)
It took me a while to decide if I liked these or not, but once I decided I did, I really did. The colour is perfect for a more neutral spring look – I especially love them paired with the white jeans. Note to self: buy more white jeans. (Mine have a spaghetti stain. Totally worth it.)
I know I said (or at least implied) I was trying to avoid ankle boots, and these probably aren’t very “Springlike”, but I just couldn’t pass on these ones. Look at them… Look at them! Love at first step, I’m sure.
Ohhhmyyygoddd. Would you look at these? I’m not usually into the super pink, girly styles, but I adore this pair of shoes. The little blow-up plug (is that the right way to describe it?) is giving me spasms of delight, and if these weren’t over $260 (why do the shoe gods mock me?) I would buy these right now.
Whoops. Another pair of ankle boots. I should have known I wouldn’t be able to resist them. The colour of this boot is what made me love them – even though blues/greens have always been my favourite colours, lately I’ve been getting attached to this coral, and have even been basing my new instagram theme around it – as well as designing a new theme for my blog using this colour… which I can’t wait for you to see!
A cute pair of sandals is a must for Spring, and I’m rather fond of these ones. I love the colour – it honestly goes with everything – and I like that they’re plain but not boring.
Do you remember wearing jelly sandals in Primary School? I do, though I never thought I’d be wearing them over a decade later. However, jelly sandals have definitely made a come back in the past few years, and it’s not hard to see why – especially this pair. Glittery, cute, and comfortable. What more could you want?
I didn’t think this list would be complete without a pair of trainers – and since “rose gold everything” is a way of life, I thought this was the perfect pair! However, for some reason they only ship these to certain countries, Australia not being one of them – super disappointing, but I thought I’d still include them for you lucky souls who reside in either France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
I thought I’d finish off this post with this darling pair of polka dot sandals. I don’t really own anything with polka dots, but after seeing this pair of shoes, I think that’s going to have to change. Once again, I’m pairing these in my mind with a cute summery white dress (I need a bigger imagination.)
I hope you all enjoyed this post and all the pairs of shoes. I had a lot of fun putting it together, and I can’t wait to do something like this again!
Which pair is your favourite?
